Join Running Adventures for a trail running mountain skills weekend in beautiful Snowdonia. For this spectacular trail weekend, we're based in the newly refurbished Capel Tanrallt in the Nantlle Valley, just 10 minutes from Snowdon.
This weekend is aimed at those people who are keen to learn all about trail running in the mountains. Maybe you have a mountain race in the diary, or plan to do one soon? Maybe you want to improve your mountain skills and experience, and learn how to look after yourself in a mountain environment? We will cover everything and give you a weekend to remember. Throughout the weekend, there will be plenty of opportunities to question your host, Matt Buck, about all things mountain and trail running.
During this weekend you will get to experience the best of Snowdonia, steep climbs, scrambling, trackless terrain, high peaks, ridge lines, amazing views, challenging weather (probably) and so much more. You will learn the skills and strategies needed to navigate and move through the mountains quickly and safely.
IMPORTANT:This weekend includes very rugged terrain, lots of elevation and takes place in an unforgiving environment, we want everyone to be safe. Therefore, this weekend is for more advanced trail runners only, you must have completed a marathon or ultra distance within 6 months of the event, you must be competent on trails and have a good level of fitness. If you are unsure and would like to discuss before registering, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
